The Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual cooking program with Anthony Scolaro, Chef and Owner of One Eleven Bistro in Medina, Ohio. Scolaro will demonstrate the process of vegetable blanching and preservation and how to make summer vegetable salad with fresh herbs.
Chef Anthony Scolaro has been working in the restaurant industry for the last 22 years. Chef Scolaro opened his own concept in Medina, OH, One Eleven Bistro, which features modern American cuisine, with a focus on local products and seasonal ingredient driven menus. Chef Scolaro was named “Restaurant Chef of the Year 2015” by the Akron/Canton ACF, was The Chef of Honor for the 2015 March of Dimes Akron/Canton Signature Chef Event, has won medals for ice carving and ACF hot food competitions, and participates in numerous charity events and causes.
Registration is required to attend on Zoom and a valid email must be provided at time of registration. Participants will receive an email invitation to join the class using Zoom before the program.
